DOUBLE STANDARDS
No Out Houses (wendy-houses), including sizes less than Five Square Meters, are permitted if they are visible from the street or from the waterside. Action will be taken against a party who infringes on these points.

It has been pointed out that our Standards Manual prohibits the erection of Wendy houses which are visible from a public road or from the water, and that we have even taken legal action against continuing offenders. Excom considered the problem and decided to endorse retrospectively the four guard houses, since they are dedicated to community needs and fulfil the purpose of improving security in those areas. In the meantime, action against offenders has been suspended.
