Personally, I like it – BUT IT DOES NOT CONFORM TO MARINA DA GAMA STANDARDS

Eastlake Shopping Centre

ExCom have informed us that the Architectural Committee of the Association have been in constant contact with the developers of the new Eastlake Shopping Centre about this blatant transgression of Marina Standards, however the new style remains. The question therefore is: How much power does the Marina Da Gama Association really wield?

The Association claims to enforce standards in Marina Da Gama, they send out letters to tell us to paint our homes, fix our fences etc. but what can they really do if their demands are ignored?

What do we really pay them for? They are not responsible for the upkeep of public parks. They are not responsible for the clearing of the waterways. We have to take care of our own sidewalks and now it is evident that they are not capable of enforcing standards. You tell me: Why do we still need to pay?
