…. or should that be:  “Much to do but nothing gets done”? Oudevlei Road intersection at San Marina has been given a makeover. This was the brain-child of our esteemed local councillor. Just like the service capacity of this road maintenance team below. It would seem that even the simplest of tasks would turn into major, noisy, earth-shattering production whenever these are carried out by South African work teams. Even something as simple as a digging out a small trench requires ten guys, a foreman and a special song — and at least a month if not more. (And then they complain about being under-staffed!!) Sounds a bit like the workings of our local councillor himself. Much palaver with virtually no results.
