It’s official!! On 25 June 2008 residents of Marina da Gama will face the Executive Committee of the Marina da Gama Association around the table at the South African Human Rights Commission, despite ExCom trying their level best to get out from under the meeting. At first, the letter got “lost in the mail” and the meeting scheduled for the Then, in a 7 page letter addressed to the SAHRC, ExCom explained their stance, ending it by saying: “we hope however that this letter has satisfactorily explained the background to and reasons for the Associations’ approach - and therefore that the hearing need not be held.”

I guess it is clear: They don’t want to talk to us, but Mr. Harrison - We have a lot to say to you.
