Hottie you are smoking the wrong stuff.

I am not a terrorist. I am a concern member. Why come once a year to an AGM and then attack the chairman for thinking on my behalf of me for a year.

Get involve from the beginning.

The admin was given to Brian Ing on 11 Nov 2009. What he do with it is his decision - not so.

I offered my services for R500 a month - after all I did do it for 2 years. Did drop the bad subs from R109000 to R30000 in 2 years. Gave the club R140000 in new assets.

The constitution also says I can tender for services.

Are you now denying that right?

Lastly it is called time management or multi tasking is a better word

San Marina Bully Boy turns terrorist

Need to add a new entry - Leon the ousted chairman of the SMRC have no turned to terrorism, he is try to terrify the chair Brain Ing sometimes sending as much a 3 emails a day complaining about every concievable problem he can find with the running of the clubhouse.

Could it be that Leon is not only a bad bully, a bad chairman, he is also a bad looser.

Word has that he does not want to hand over the administration and wants to continue doing it for R500 per month.

He has reported in one meeting about earning R350 per hour, why would someone with a job like his want to do such dull mundane work. There is something fishy going on - maybe is trying to cover his tracks.

Also where does he get the time for all these emails he is sending to the new chair Brian Ing.

Well I have to agree with you “Hottie” The new San Marina committee should be given a chance to prove there worth. As long as you have tact and are more amenable to some residents financial constraints at the moment you will receive a warm welcome from most residents. I myself dont reside in the San Marina area, but friends of mine do. The tactless fool that was thankfully dethroned had little regard for those in financial difficulties. When bonds are behind, retrenched and food on the table a problem loosing furniture for a clubhouse was deemed totally unnecessary.

Where is the education going to in this country.

I take it it that you are younger than my daughter of nine because she understands the above statement.

I will ask the anty bully boy club to draw you a cartoon. Maybe then you will understand.

SMRC is not open to the public unless your definition of ‘public’ is residents of Marina Da Gama. Look across the lake at the yacht club - now there’s a club that is open to the public.

Now if we could only remove this clause then what a bargain.

Do not bargain on perception or assumption that the club will get more members if you open it to the public as that is already in play. We do except outside membersship even to you JT.

Can I ask the chairman to sign you up???

Hottie, if you open the club to the general public you’ll probably have more members, less rates and a full-time groundsman to keep everything in good order - with the same or even lower levies. Keeping the club ‘exclusive’ will be its undoing.

Admin you are trying to stir sh@t. I’m not a Leon fan and apart from his obvious lack of “people skills” which many techies suffer from, it does not mean he does not have valied point. The clubhouse is a communal facility that is suppose to be there for residents and does serve a purpose (and I must add many communities does not even have such a facility)and there will be a problem maintaining it, if 90% of the residents resign and stop paying, the remaining residents would probably have to fork out a thousand rand or more per month.

So can we stop the sh@t stirring and emotional stuff (and call a moratorium on the stirring) and allow the new committee to come up with a way forward.
