Most of us will have noticed that there a lot of homeless, unemployed and underprivileged people living next to the railway bridge and on the field next to the bowling club in Muizenberg.

I would like to give them a simple “wors and chicken” braai on 23^rd December – just before Christmas. In view of this I am asking for donations of braai packs and wors from our residents. Even a donation of a small braai pack or wors from Pick ‘n Pay, Checkers, Spar etc. will be great. Nearer the time I will approach the supermarkets for donations of rolls, margarine spread, charcoal, etc

I would like to start collecting the donations as soon as possible, which I can store in my deep freeze until 23 December.

If there is anyone who can assist with the actual braai (to take place near the parking area at the Muizenberg Station) please let me know.
